About Me

I moved to Seattle in January of 2006 after receiving my MS from Purdue University. I am currently teaching psychology at Bellevue Community College. I love Seattle and I love my job! I recently started volunteering with Girls Rock -- an after school program to teach middle school girls life's lessons through rock climbing (and to have fun doing it!) My interests aside from academia and career goals mostly involve the outdoors. Rock climbing is my true passion, but I'm also into hiking, mountaineering and snowboarding. I also enjoy yoga and dancing. I love salsa dancing, swing dancing, blues dancing, Argentine tango, or any type of partnered dance really. My non-active hobbies are reading (mostly fiction), sewing, and knitting.
